Breast feeding

Is it the best?

It is quite intriguing to know people ask such a question. Let us objectively see if there are some advantages:

  • It is one of the most intimate moments shared by the mother and the baby. The baby gets the touch, smell, and the heartbeat of the mother making it feel secure and wanted.
  • Breast feeding is the nature's way of providing nourishment to the baby. It is of the right composition, formed in the right place, and is delivered in the right temperature in the right way.
  • Its composition is such that it is digested easily. It prevents problems such as constipation.
  • Breast milk contains many important antibodies (blood cells that fight diseases) that help the baby to be resistant during the first few months of its life when it is not yet making antibodies of its own. This prevents even development of allergies that can lead to asthma.
  • Breast milk composition also changes as the baby grows up supplementing its needs.
  • Well, if none of this appeal, why don't you think this way - easy, practical and absolutely FREE! No hassles of accurate mixtures, no need to sterilize, or worry of the milk temperature. It is hassle free and always ready to deliver at any time of the day.

Note:

  • All women are not able to breast feed (who have had operations). Fortunately there are lot of aids and alternatives available today. Talk to your doctor or midwife.
  • When mother is infected it is preferred that the mother does not breast feed.
