Farsightedness

It is the inability to focus on near objects well.

Causes:

  • The eye ball shape changes making the focusing difficult
  • The focusing power of the lens becomes limited due to old age.

Rectification:

By using glasses or contact lenses

Note:

There is no evidence to prove that eye exercises and diet supplements such as vitamins can prevent or cure such refractive errors.
