Parkinson's disease
Parkinson's disease is one of the motor system disorders (MSD) which signify the impairment of the balance and coordination of the movements. This class of diseases has some very typical symptoms. A group of brain cells called substantia nigra produce a chemical called dopamine which is a chemical messenger. This messenger helps to link and pass information to the part of the brain that is responsible for movement and coordination. Research has shown that these cells die or become non-functional in this disease resulting in loss of balance and coordination. |
