vasectomy
It is an operation which blocks the sperm from reaching the penis by blocking the tube (vas deferens) that carries new sperm from the testicles.
Some points to remember:
- A minor operation
- Safe and effective
- Does not prevent sexual intercourse or enjoyment
- It is in most cases irreversible. So the decision can be later regretted. Also, reversing surgery could be very technical, complicated, and often unsuccessful.
Note:
- It does not provide protection against STDs or AIDS.
