Safety during medication
Every medication has some effect on the individual other than the reason for which it is taken. For example: sedatives and pain killers can make you feel drowsy.
Some of the things to keep in mind:
- Dosage: always be careful of the potency and how much should be take.
- How the medicine is to be taken.
- The time when the medicine is to be taken
- Side effects
- The interaction possibility with other drugs or diet
Note:
- Some drugs such as sedatives may make you feel drowsy. Driving when you are under the effect of sedatives can be dangerous.
- Similarly consumption of alcohol along with medication can be disastrous.
