Travel medication

A check list:

  • Take your daily medicine.
  • Other medicines: painkillers, anti-inflammatories, for relief of diarrhea or constipation, travel sickness, allergies.
  • First aid: Bandages, plasters, cotton, thermometer, syringes and needles.
  • Water purifier
  • Sun protection lotion
  • Insect repellents
  • Contraception
  • Vaccines
  • Travel and health insurance

Note:

  • Meet your doctor and take all medications that could be required. The new place may not have it or have another company product.
  • Often permits are required to cross borders with some drugs. Enquire from the emigration authorities and take a doctor's statement with you.
  • Always travel with a little extra medicine. Sometimes you can get delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.
