A check list:
Take your daily medicine.
Other medicines: painkillers, anti-inflammatories, for relief of diarrhea or constipation, travel sickness, allergies.
First aid: Bandages, plasters, cotton, thermometer, syringes and needles.
Water purifier
Sun protection lotion
Insect repellents
Contraception
Vaccines
Travel and health insurance
Note:
Meet your doctor and take all medications that could be required. The new place may not have it or have another company product.
Often permits are required to cross borders with some drugs. Enquire from the emigration authorities and take a doctor's statement with you.
Always travel with a little extra medicine. Sometimes you can get delayed due to unforeseen circumstances.
