5 years journey - Looking forward to the future

This is the most inspiring moment for all of us. Now we have started to see our impact. Not only did we receive more than 10 thousand regular visitors and almost 5 thousand new visitors every month for the last year, we have received about 300 thousand comments and questions pertaining to various subjects we have covered so far. Last year the response was so overwhelming that often we ran behind our schedules. These figures give us enough reasons to exist and continue with what we are doing.

Also, the articles prepared under Medical Intervention Project were best visited. Such results only further strengthen the very purpose of our existence.

After looking at the above figures, it is time to evaluate our priorities and strategize the way forward. I will discuss each of our future priority areas one by one.

Controversial Issues Project

This project was primarily undertaken because of the various questions and requests we received from our viewers. This project deals with issues that are debated and often have equally compelling viewpoints. These issues exist at the intersection of Medicine, Law, and ethics. We were initially reluctant to take up this project, as these issues are very sensitive and putting them forward in an unbiased and neutral way is a very difficult and challenging task. It is definitely undeniable that these issues greatly impact our lives. Rethinking how these issues involve us, we decided to take up the challenge. This section is currently under development and will be one of our priority focuses in the next years.

The Medical Intervention Project

This section was also the very reason why we had started this organization. Since this section is also viewers' favorite, we are thinking of expanding it. We will also be including some rare health conditions, and expanding further on the articles dealing with medical practice.

The Human Body and Safer World projects

The Human Body Project performed the best in terms of viewer comments and criticism. The largest number of comments came mainly from two sections: Teen's Heath section, which had the maximum number of questions, and Our Body section that got the most criticism.

Most of the questions pertaining to articles in the Teen's Health section were dealt with as separate articles or addendums to the various articles, but some of them we could not address yet. Some of them we are already working but some need to wait for the moment, as many such issues are also part of the Controversial Issues Project. Looking at such a great response from our viewers we have also decided to put in special attention to other issues that teenagers often face.

Articles in Our Body section were so heavily criticized that we had to practically remove all the articles and start rewriting them. The biggest problem was what to put and how much to put. We initially wrote very simple articles but as they underwent further modifications, they lost their simplicity. That defeated our whole purpose. So we finally removed the entire section and are again trying to evaluate how we go about with this section.
