Masturbation

Sexual arousal of oneself by fantasizing and touching oneself. It is the signal that your sexual development is complete. There is no good or bad way of doing it either. It is a world of fantasy and there is no rule that governs it. You define the rules.

How much and how often?

There is nothing like how much or how often is good. It differs from person to person. However, too much of anything is not good and has both mental and physical implications. Too much will show you the following symptoms:

  • Feeling tired all the time
  • Stress and anxiety
  • Soft or weak erection and premature ejaculation
  • Pain in the groin and often lower back pain
  • Loss of hair

If you experience any of these symptoms it is advisable that you see the doctor. He will have a good advice for you.

Note:

  • It is believed that it is unhealthy - no way! it is perfectly healthy.
  • Some people attach guilt to it. There is nothing to feel ashamed of. It is a very normal thing to do. Even people in a sexual relationship can resort to masturbation once a while.
  • Masturbation is entirely safe - no fear of STDs, AIDS, or pregnancy.
  • Women who use toys should not share it with other friends. It can spread STDs.
