Pain management
It is not a disease, it is a symptom. Pain is an unpleasant feeling (physical or mental). The experience is different in everyone's case. The pain can be aching, throbbing, pricking, dull, or sharp. Acute pain lasts less than 2 weeks but chronic pain lasts at least for 3 months.
Causes:
- Illness
- Injury
- It is a protective signal that prevents from further hurt in the effected area.
Treatment:
- A hot or cold pack may help ease pain.
- Relaxing the body definitely helps.
- Pain killers help to ease the pain.
- Call the doctor if the pain is recurring.
Facts:
The longer the pain is not treated, the longer it will take to treat.
