Piercing and Tattoos
Something you should know:
- Tattoos are not very easily removed. In some cases it leaves permanent discoloration.
- It is extremely expensive to remove the tattoo.
- Non-sterile equipments can cause spread of serious infections such as HIV/AIDS, hepatitis, etc.
- In some cases the body cannot accept the tattoo dye. It may be rejected. This may look ugly and may never be healed completely.
- Blood donation is prohibited within a year of having a tattoo.
- In some countries, law prohibits minors from getting a tattoo.
- Piercing can lead to infection at the site pierced.
- Piercing of the nipples may hinder breast feeding in future.
- Cartilage piercing can take very long to heal.
Advice:
- It is advisable that you take some time to think before you do it.
- Ask around and take other's experience.
