Virginity
It is often defined as the presence of an intact hymen. In fact, there are plenty of women who are born without a hymen. Also, often physical activity or accidents can cause the breaking of the hymen. So a woman can loose her so called virginity without sex? And what about the guys? Therefore, virginity is better defined as a person who did not have a sexual intercourse.
Decision of having sex:
To decide whether to enter into a sexual relationship is one of the most important decisions everyone has to make. Some of the factors that can influence your decision are:
- Friends and company: what kind of friends you have has a lot to do with your concept of virginity. Often peer pressure plays an important role in your decision. Often you are left out if your are a virgin?!
- Family values and personal attitude.
- Boy friend or girl friend may influence you into it.
- Inquisitiveness
- Religion
Considerations before having sex:
- Whatever your decision be responsible.
- After all, you will be left with the experience and no one else. So be prepared.
- Often mentally you may be prepared but may not be physically, or the other way round.
- Do remember abstinence is the safest way to keep infections such as STDs or AIDS away. Also, no fear of pregnancy.
Note:
- Fun for once can cost you your life even if you are careful. This is especially true if you do not know the other partner well or in one night stands.
- Regular physical examination is necessary if you are in a sexual relationship. Please do not ignore.
- If you happen to be pregnant please be responsible. Someone else's life depends on you. Please read further.
- It is pointless to think after you have done it. Think very carefully beforehand. If you are confused, do not get into it. It may not be worth it.
