Disease causing agents

How is the exposure:

Medical and health workers, bio-research laboratory workers, care givers, all come across exposures to blood and other body fluids. This results in exposure to various disease causing organisms called pathogens.

The causes of primary concern:

HIV/AIDS virus, hepatitis, etc.

Prevention:

Prevention is possible by proper hygiene, proper immunizations and good laboratory practices.
